The lighting will take place on Saturday, December 11th at 6 pm. It will begin on the corner of Grant Place & Eastern Drive in Urbana with a proclamation being read and will proceed from house to house led by the torch bearers. Our lighting marshall for 2010 is Jim Turpin.
Return to event list.Access by car from Cottage Grove to Fairlawn and Eastern Drive will be blocked beginning at 5 pm. Eastern Drive will be closed from the East beginning at Cole Place and Fairlawn will be closed from the East beginning at Patton. Candlestick Lane will be lit every evening from 5 -10 pm through Christmas. Please drive cautiously and turn off your headlights to get the most enjoyment from the lights. |
