Capital Elite Storm All-Star Cheerleading (CEA) will hold "Mouse Races" on Friday, April 13th. The event features wagering on live, racing mice, mouse roulette, dice wheel, music, food, 50/50 raffle, raffle baskets and a cash bar. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., racing begins at 7 p.m. If you haven't been to mouse races before, it's a blast! Proceeds will go towards sending Capital Elite's "Thunder" squad to Cheerleading Worlds, a first for a downstate Illinois gym and a lifelong goal for our cheerleaders. Must be 21 to enter. Return to event list.Tickets are $10 each. 50/50 raffle is $1 for one ticket, or $5 for six tickets. Location: Springfield Jaycees Activity Center, 2525 S. 13th Street, Springfield, Illinois. We are also looking for individuals and businesses to "sponsor" a mouse or a race. $50 to sponsor a mouse in one race (up to six races). You can name your mouse that you are sponsoring. $25 to sponsor a race. Race sponsors will have their name in the race book and be announced by the MC.
