The Friends of the Decatur Public Library are having their Annual Used Book Sale on September 2, and September 3 at the Decatur Civic Center Arena. On Sunday , the sale is open to the public from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hardback books are $1.00, paperback books are $.50 and special books are sold as marked. On Monday, the sale goes from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. All books are 1/2 price or $5.00 a paper bag. There will be plenty of free parking and admission to the sale is free. Paid 2012/2013 members of the Friends of the Decatur Public Library may shop on Sunday, September 2, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Memberships may be purchased at the door starting at $15 for individuals or $30 a family.
