OCC in East Central Illinois wants to collect 10,000 shoe boxes packed full of goodies by local individuals and families for needy kids overseas during collection week. Once collected,using whatever means necessary—trucks, trains, boats, bikes and even elephants—the shoe box gifts will be hand-delivered to hurting children in 100 countries around the world. Collections sites are also located in Bloomington, Danville, Monticello, Rantoul, and Rankin.
