This is called a "FlapJack Fundraiser" it's $5.00 per ticket for pancakes bacon and your choice of coffee, soda, tea (a beverage unlimited). Applebee's has been gracious to me and is trying to help raise money to send our daughter out to L.A. It's a dream and not pray you proceed to read this. I'm disabled and her father and I are trying to raise 5 children. She and I are going there so she can have a chance to see film directors, producers and agents. I realize she isn't sick and I thank God but she brings hope for other little girls and boys her age to let them know that anything is possible. We aren't rich. We have to pay her way out there. Although she was chosen, all expenses are out of our own pockets. So, we are just trying to get money to help get her out there. I am going with her. Never being in a big city is scary to she and I but being chosen was something I felt was right. She is a small town Macon, IL girl. I've been driving her to St. Louis starting back in May. Then her G-parents came down ill we did it when we could. Her Great grandma passed away just this passed weekend and its made her pull harder. She is a comedian, sweet, kind and just smart. I tell my children to reach for their dreams, but even if they are all not met they tried and they gave it a try. They take away something with them everywhere they go. I really hope to have the community and surrounding communities come and meet her this morning and see what kind of little girl she is and sharing a breakfast with us at the Forsyth, IL Applebee's.
