Kleiner Christkindlmarkt – A little Christmas Market
Return to event list.Kleiner Christkindlmarkt – A little Christmas Market comes to Springfield Saturday, December 1, 2012. Hosted by the Springfield German American Club (DANK) this traditional open-air German Christmas market will be held outside of Engel’s on Edwards at 552 S. MacArthur, Springfield from 10am to 3pm. The market will feature a large variety of German style gifts and Christmas items for sale along with other hand-made items by local Springfield artisans. Enjoy a hot cup of cider, coco or coffee with a tasty treat from the bake sale or a grilled bratwurst with sauerkraut or hot pretzel. While strolling through the tent or warming yourself by the free standing fire-pit, listen to the Southeast High School German language student choir sing Christmas carols.
