Return to event list.SPRINGTIME PLANTING FOR KIDS Museum Education Center, Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve, 950 N. Lombard, Mahomet, 10 – 11:30 a.m. Your child will first learn some science related to seeds and germination. Then we will head out to the Discovery Garden to prepare our raised beds with gardening tools. Early spring crops of lettuce, radishes, and peas will be started, and kids will be able to take home a small pot with peas they planted for growing at home. $3 per child.
