BOINKS, PEEPS, & TWANGS: HOW TO ID FROGS BY THEIR CALLS
Interpretive Center, Homer Lake Forest Preserve, 2573 S. Homer Lake Rd, Homer, 6 – 8 p.m.
April is National Frog Month! Join us to learn how to identify local frogs by the sounds they make. This program is designed for adults and kids age 10 and up. A multi-media presentation indoors will be followed by a hike to the restored wetland to look for frogs and practice your skills. Each group will receive a complimentary CD of local frog calls to take home. Mud-stomping shoes and bug spray are recommended. $4 per person.
