Event Description

The Prairie Research Institute at the U of I presents the fifth annual Naturally Illinois Expo—an opportunity for the public to discover more about science and our state through the work of the State Scientific Surveys. Find over 50 exhibits, demonstrations, and hands-on activities for all ages including: Floodplain Simulation, Kids’ Fossil Dig, Bugging the Dinosaurs: 3D Reconstruction of Fossil Insects, Animal Bones of Illinois, Plastics to Oil, and much more! The Expo is free and open to the public on the grounds of the Natural Resources Building. Groups, please contact Eric Plankell in advance at 217-265-8029.
