An Ethnic Heritage Day celebration featuring Argentine culture will be held Monday, March 25 at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. The event will be held from noon to 1 p.m. in the Pearson Museum (second floor), 801 N. Rutledge St., Springfield.
Return to event list.The program includes a presentation, “Living in America: Perspective of a Biomedical Researcher and Educator from Argentina,” by Julio Copello, associate professor of pharmacology at SIU. There also will be samples of Argentine foods and a display of artifacts. Ethnic Heritage Day celebrations are held regularly at the medical school to share information about various ethnic cultures.
