Grab your running shoes, the Champaign County 4-H Federation is sponsoring the 4-H Kids Helping Kids- ONE STEP AT A TIME 5K Run/ Walk on April 13, 2013 at Crystal Lake Park, in Urbana, Illinois. Registration will start at 7 a.m. with the race starting at 8 a.m. A post-race party will immediately follow the race were prizes and awards will be announced.
Return to event list.4-H Kids Helping Kids is a group of high school 4-H members planning, promoting, and conducting a 5K race. The group is looking forward to making a difference, one step at a time. The proceeds will be used to enrich the lives of Champaign County youth by eliminating financial barriers to engaging experiences such as camp fees, travel opportunities, and equipment needed to participate in sporting events.
