Sylvia's Irish Inn - UrbanaSylvia's Irish InnSylvia's Irish Inn Sylvia's Irish Inn is one of Urbana's finest examples of the Queen Anne style of Victorian architecture. It was designed by Rudolph Zachariah Gill, an 1887 graduate of the University of Illinois in architecture and engineering, and was built in 1895 for Dr. Austin Lindley, a prominent physician and surgeon for the Big Four Railroad in Urbana. In September 2003, Ernie and Sylvia Sullivan purchased Lindley House and have continued the restoration and appointment of the property. Most recently Lindley House was renamed Sylvia's Irish Inn as a tribute to Sylvia and her Irish heritage. Our house is your house while you are here and we want you to make yourself at home. Curl up under an afghan in the parlor or library and sip a cup of tea while you enjoy a good book or a quiet moment of reflection. Or keep in touch with the world by browsing the Internet. We will make every effort to make your stay comfortable and relaxed. Staying with us is even easier! Book now and receive 25 percent off if you stay 3 or more nights in December!
