UIS basketball games to air on THIS TV Illinois

You can now catch the Prairie Stars on TV in central Illinois! Illinois Springfield Athletics is proud to announce four upcoming games will air on THIS TV Illinois, a digital sub channel of WBUI-TV.

On Saturday, January 21, both the men's and women's games against Drury University will air tape delayed in primetime on THIS TV Illinois. The women's game will be broadcast at 7 p.m., followed by the men's game at 8:30 p.m. On Saturday, February 18, men's and women's games against Missouri-St. Louis will air. The women's game starts at 8 p.m., followed by the men's game at 9:30 p.m. in tape delay.

The broadcasts are part of a new partnership between GOCOM Media of Illinois, owners of WRSP-TV Fox 55/WBUI-TV CW 23, and the University of Illinois Springfield. The broadcasts will be produced by the UIS Office of Electronic Media, who currently produces broadcasts that air on campus and stream live online.

THIS TV Illinois can be found on digital sub channel 23.2 over-the-air, Comcast cable channel 232, and Mediacom cable channel 115.
