Name Brand Medicines Not Always Worth It

A new study finds when it comes to medicine, more Americans choose the
more-expensive option, and it's not always the best thing to do.

The
University of Chicago and a university in the Netherlands looked at
125,000 households. They say the average consumer usually does that
because they think they're giving up quality otherwise.

Researchers,
though, found many drugs have the same dosage and active ingredient.
They say Americans waste about $44 billion a year on name brands.Name Brand Medicines Not Always Worth It
