“The Big Bang Theory $100 Giveaway”

Prizes:  (13) $100 in the form of a check (total value $1300)

How to enter: No purchase necessary.  Watch The Big Bang Theory weeknights November 5th - November 21st on FOX 55/27 Illinois from 6:30-7pm for the clue of the day then watch between 10-10:30p, for the cue to call. Call the FOX Illinois prize line immediately.  The 5th caller with the correct clue word of the day will win.  The prize line number is 217-523-1914. 

Eligibility: No employee of GOCOM Media or its affiliated companies, his or hers spouse, or immediate family members shall be eligible to win.  Immediate family members include, but are not necessarily limited to parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents.  Additionally, GOCOM Media reserves the right to disqualify any other person from participation in a contest where such participation would, in the sole opinion of GOCOM Media, compromise or give the appearance of compromising the integrity of the contest.  No person shall be eligible to win the prize more than one time per contest.  Employees of FOX 55/27 Illinois, Central Illinois CW, GOCOM Media of Illinois and their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, production, promotion and fulfillment agencies, other broadcast companies and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household are not eligible for any contest.

If either of the shows (6:30p or 10p) is canceled because of an unforeseen programming change the contest will be void for that evening.

All entries selected by the station as a winner must provide valid photo identification to claim prizes.  If any individual fails to provide such proof of identity or if the station discovers the ineligibility of the winner as outlined in the official rules, the winner can be disqualified from winning any prize.  If GOCOM Media is unable to obtain this information for any reason, GOCOM Media may select the next eligible person as the winner.  All winners must sign an affidavit of eligibility and release/waiver that releases FOX 55/27 Illinois, Central Illinois CW, GOCOM Media of Illinois and any of its subsidiaries from any and all liability, claims, demands, or actions resulting from acceptance and use of the prizes awarded.

By participating, winners consent to the use of their names, voice, and/or likeness, both still and video, without compensation for advertising, public relations, and promotion.

Failure to sign the eligibility affidavit and release consent form will result in the forfeiture of prizes.  All federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations apply.

Winners are responsible for all taxes incurred on all prizes awarded.  Winners may be required to provide their social security number for tax purposes.  Only one winner per household (unique postal address) is permitted. All prizes are non-transferable and non-assignable.  The decision of GOCOM Media with regard to all matters relating to the contest, including matters not specifically addressed in these rules, shall be final. Prizes not claimed in accordance with these rules will be forfeited and not awarded.   All unclaimed prizes become the sole property of GOCOM Media.  Winners have (30) days from the day contacted to claim their prize.
