Police find 12 Razors Glued to Illinois Playground

Parents speak out about their toddler's injuries at a local playground by booby-trapped razors.
Two year old Madden was on his dad Jayson's shoulders during a day at the park, pretending to be a big boy on the monkey bars when Madden cried out saying ouch. His dad, Jason put him down because he thought maybe it was the coldness of the bars hurting his hands. However, that's when he saw that Madden had started bleeding. His parents began looking around and that was when they saw it. Razor blades. They were everywhere, razor blades were everywhere.
Razor blades, glued to playground equipment at Millennium park in east Moline. Madden's finger was cut, and was bleeding badly. The toddler is doing well, but hasn't forgotten about what happened.
Did it hurt?
Yeah, it cracked open.
It cracked open?
That's not good. Did it hurt?
But you're good now right?
It's right here!
It's right there.
It's right here.
All told, at least a dozen straight-edge razor blades were found, blade side up, on park equipment strategically placed to hurt and cut kids, including here at the bottom of the slide.
To be plotted out for like 20 to 30 minutes, I feel that's pretty sick, psychotic in a way.
While everyone questions why, police are trying to find out who. Taking fingerprints, and looking at possible leads.
Why would that be something that would come into your mind -- to put razor blades at a children's park.
Madden was lucky. It could have been worse.
Will you go back to the park?
Good, atta boy.
It could have been horrible, it could have sliced his hand open completely, if he was older and he was really swinging on the monkey bars and grabbed it, it would have mutilated his hand.
Authorities are still trying to figure out who is responsible for planting the razors at the playground.
