Enforcing the Hand Held Cell Phone Ban

Updated: Monday, February 17 2014, 01:20 PM CST
It's been almost two months since the Illinois cell phone ban went into
effect and some drivers are adapting to the new law. Others say it's a
hard habit to break especially if you need it for work. Local law
enforcement agencies say they have mostly been writing warning tickets
saying, "this is going to be a learning process for everybody." The
Champaign Police Department says they have only written 7 talking while
driving tickets.
