50 Years Since JFK and the Medal of Freedom

The Medal of Freedom is known as the highest civilian honor. President Obama recognized the achievements of a diverse group of Americans during a ceremony at the White House. The President awarded the high honor to 16 recipients. Their contributions ranging from national interests to world peace to significant cultural endeavors.
