Farmers' Market to Host Cooking Classes

Updated: Thursday, July 10 2014, 05:06 PM CDT
The East Side Farmer's Market, located in front of the Sangamon County Department of Public Health just celebrated it's grand opening this week.

This year, they've teamed with St. John's Hospital to start cooking classes for the community.  The goal behind the classes is to teach shoppers how to prepare the fresh produce they're buying.

Classes will be held every Monday at the Sangamon County Department of Public Health, from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.

They are free and open to everyone in the community.  Farmers' Market to Host Cooking Classes
