Updated: Wednesday, February 19 2014, 11:37 AM CST

Another controversy coming to light today between two of the republican candidates for governor. Bill Brady calling out Kirk Dillard saying he "sold out" for union money when he voted "no" on the pension reform bill last year. Pension was one of the questions during the debate. Senator Brady maintains he supports pension reform finding it constitutional. Senator Dillard said the state does need pension reform, but he believes it must be done with all parties working together. Senator Dillard did call out Senator Brady during final remarks for a headline saying he supported mass euthanization of animals.

The other scandal making waves in this years gubernatorial election is the sexual harassment allegations against Dan Rutherford. Rutherford was asked tonight about the outside investigation to clear his name paid for by taxpayers he previously said it would be made public. Until legal council advised against it Rutherford maintains he wants it released, but cannot due to the federal investigation. Rutherford also says he has no proof the allegations are a part of a smear campaign by Bruce Rauner.
