Missouri Teen Shooting, Family Reacts to Looting

Updated: Tuesday, August 12 2014, 11:00 PM CDT

ST LOUIS -- Tensions continue to flare in suburban St. Louis, Missouri, following the death of an unarmed college bound teen.

18-year-old Michael Brown was struck multiple times by gunfire Saturday by an unnamed police officer.

The victims' family has hired Benjamin Crump, the same attorney that represented the Trayvon Martin family.
Meanwhile, the justice department has announced its civil rights division is opening an investigation as well.

Rioting has broken out for the second night in Ferguson.

Chief John Belmar says, "Want to assure you this is a very complicated investigation as it should be a man lost his life, a police officer involved in it."

The officer who shot and killed Brown is currently on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
