Two Shot in 24 Hours: Springfield Watch

SPRINGFIELD --  In less than 24 hours two people were wounded in two, separate Springfield shootings. The first was after 11 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Brandon Court and Old Rochester Rd. According to the police report, a 16-year-old was shot in the leg. Friends of the victim tell us he is not in serious condition. The second shooting was reported around 2 p.m. Saturday. Police searched the area between between 15th and 16th Streets on Moffat after being called by witnesses. They told officers they heard five shots, and one of them saw a suspect get into a gray car. Police have not released any additional information.
