Police Impersonator SketchEight recent reports of the police impersonators throughout central Illinois prompted the Sangamon County Sheriff's office to find an artist to draw these sketches of the suspect. Two female victims in Sangamon County, one a 16 year-old the other a 21 year-old, met with a sketch artist from the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF). The women described the man who used flashing light pretending to be a police officer to pull them over. Now authorities are asking for your help to identify this man. If these sketches look familiar to you, and the person that you recognize here drives a white four-door car with a discolored hood, please call CRIMESTOPPERS at (217)788-8427.
