Crews in Columbus, Ohio battled a massive fire aboard a derailed freight train.

The train jumped its tracks just before 2 am. Four cars carrying chemicals like denatured alcohol and styrene igniting on impact. The blaze was visible from miles away.

Fire crews attacked the flames from the air and waited to send in ground crews until they knew what was burning.

People living within a one mile radius of the fire were evacuated, but hazmat crews say there is no risk of contamination.

The cause of the derailment is under investigation.
