Budget Cuts Impact Education

Governor Quinn's announced education cuts are hitting some local schools at the worst time. Declining property taxes in Danville have contributed to declining revenue. Without reliable revenue streams, state aid cuts and additional federal cuts, Danville is looking at a $5 million deficit next year.
