Raw video - Cairo mayor urges voluntary evacuation

The mayor of Cairo, Illinois is urging residents to voluntarily evacuate the city as the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers continue to rise.

So far, about 100 residents have heeded to the mayor's request.

Officials say the evacuation could become mandatory if the Ohio River gains a few more feet.

The residents who stayed behind say they're doing everything they can to battle flood waters.
