Heat woes continue in large parts of the US

Hot weather conditions continuing through the weekend from the plains to the east coast with daytime highs from the upper nineties to well into the triple digits.

As the nation saw a variety of heat advisories, excessive heat watches, and warnings, cleanup continued in areas hit by Friday night's deadly storms as firefighters chipped away at wildfires in the west.
