He did not comment of a committee to work on the consolidation of our school districts where a lot of money could be saved. In our area we have District 26 and 56, each has 3 schools in each district with a superintendent, Asst. superintendent, and heads of different departments. You could put them together and have one set of the previous mentioned heads and cut the salary expenditure in half. This could be done all over Illinois. We would like to see this implemented in the next year or so and not take 20 years to do this.
