Medical Marijuana Vote

Medicinal marijuana is one step closer to becoming legal in Illinois. The House Committee voted yesterday (3/6) to legalize the medical use of marijuana. This proposal would allow patients to carry up to 2.5 oz. or 70g of marijuana for a two week period. But the patient would need to have a debilitating medical condition in order to qualify for a medical marijuana card. Sponsor Lou Lang is confidant his proposal can pass in the house.
