Pope/Cardinal Conclave Controversy

A controversy surrounding American Cardinal Roger Mahony is heating up. Pressure in both the U.S. and Italy mounts upon a scandal of Mahony's role in shielding sexually abusive priests. The conclave is meant to elect the new pope in a few weeks. Mahony, the focus of the growing pressure, is only one of many compromised cardinals.
