Illinois Governor Pat Quinn says the time to ban assault weapons is now.

The Illinois Governor announced that he used his veto power on Tuesday to call for changes in bill related to ammunition sales in the state.

Quinn’s plan prohibits the manufacturing, delivery, sale and*possession of semi-automatic weapons and their attachments.
