1 lb. Fresh Granny Smith Apples (about 3 large apples)

2 tablespoons corn starch

1/2 cup oats

1/2 cup all purpose flour

1/2 cup light brown sugar

1/4 lb. butter, cold

- In a third bowl, mix oats, flour and brown sugar until combined.

- Cut the butter into small cubes and add it to the dry oat mixture.

Mix until combined and a crumbly texture is formed.

- Evenly coat the bottom of an oven safe baking dish with 1/2 cup of

the oat mixture.

- Fill the baking dish with the apples and top with the remainder of

the oat mixture.

- Bake for 45 minutes or until the apples reach 180 degrees
