Caramelized Pecans

Caramelized Pecans by Linda Castor

Ingredients:
4 cups halved pecans
2/3 cup real maple syrup
1/4 tablespoon salt

Directions:
Preheat dry skillet over med-high heat.
Add above 3 ingredients & stir frequently until syrup is caramelized & nuts toasted (nuts should be coated in a ‘dry’ covering)—about 3-5 minutes.
Spread on wax paper to cool.

NOTE: I wouldn’t try more than doubling the recipe at one time… may need to make several batches.  Use for holiday snacking, or additions to sweet potatoes or just about anything!  Enjoy!
