Illini Offensive Coach Brings New Hope

Updated: Wednesday, August 7 2013, 03:14 PM CDT

The Illini needed to rework their offensive philosophy after scoring just 94 points against 8 Big Ten opponents in last year's season. Their answer to the offensive question was to hire Bill Cubit. Cubit is in his 38th year of coaching and receives positive reviews from his fellow coaches and players.

Illinois Offensive Line Coach A.J. Rickers refers to Cubit as a magician when it comes to offense. So far Cubit's coaching methods have the Illini team hopeful and confident about the upcoming season.
