Arraignment Set for Clemens

An arraignment date has been set for Roger Clemens.

The former baseball star will appear in federal court August 13th.

Clemens denying he used steroids while testifying before congress in 2008. He was indicted last week and is accused of lying to congress during the hearing. He’s charged with perjury and obstruction of justice.

Clemens has long denied using performance enhancing drugs. He’s expected to plead not guilty at his arraignment.
