My kids and I went to the Illinois State Fair this week with their Aunt Mimi who lives in Springfield. Definately worth the drive from Pekin. We always have to stop to see the butter cow! This year they used over 800 pounds of butter, made a calf and even some dark colored squirrels!

Also, for the first time, my daughter Mikayla rode the swings at the fair. It turned out to be her favorite ride and I couldn't keep her off of it. Getting a picture of her on it was probably the hardest part!
